Hi Peter,
I would like to book 8 of us in for your next dance on the 16th May. I tried to get another friend to come along and she told me that her partner Ray does not want to come to Wantirna because the last time he was there it was TOO full and dancing was restricted. I thought you should know although I'm sure you do already. It seems to me that one week the numbers are down and it makes it much more comfortable for dancing and that means that those people bring other friends along to swell the numbers. And then when it is too full, they decide not to come because it is too full. It's impossible to please everybody - however,
let me say that you and your team excelled yourselves last month. But I wouldn't be in their shoes for all the work that would have been involved. Take it easy. Nobody expects that much hospitality ! Anyway, well done..
So much better than a half empty hall. Comments, such as the above prove to the committee “It’s all worth while” but we would like some help with packing up

Please be informed that our CAV Mid-Year Dinner will be held on Saturday 20.6.09 at CAV. Ticket is at $48.00pp. so please keep this Saturday night free. You are most welcome to organise your own table and also invite your friends.
There will be a sumptuous Chinese Banquet dinner, lots of Raffle Prizes and free entertainment for the night. A good live band will play the music for some dancing and you can be sure to have an enjoyable evening. We hope to have a table or 2 from chums – It’s a great night – bookings through Peter Sellars

40th ANNIVERSARY DINNER DANCE July 4th 50/50 dancing to cater for both dances ( 1st and 3rd Sat nights. As this year is our 40th Anniversary . We are expecting another “BIG” night Dancing will be just wonderful – dancing to The NEW MELBOURNE JAZZ BAND and also plenty of New Vogue. Remember we will have to have a cut off point. Our dinner is provided by the same company that we had for our Debutante Ball every one was so impressed. And once again members only pay for the meal. $25 - FREE DANCING
